Default You Would Never Guess That This Is a House in Brooklyn

Corcoran, 2458 National Drive, Mill Basin Real Estate, Brooklyn For Sale, Homes, Mill Basin Townhouse, James Cornell, Leslie Marshall, Lauren Muss

It's hard to believe that places like this exist in Brooklyn, but they do, apparently, because here is the listing (asking price: $30 million) and here are some photos. Corcoran calls the 60,000-square-foot (inside and outside), two-building Mill Basin spread "New York’s largest and most prestigious waterfront property." How many kitchens are in your apartment? Well, this one has four, so you lose. How many bathrooms does your apartment have? This one has fourteen, so you lose again.

Eh, I like it but yes, I'd never guess it was in Brooklyn. It would look more "at home" in LA.

Built with drug money, guaranteed. I can just imagine the ho's draped around the pool.

It looks like the head office of a small pharmaceutical company in some ugly business park.

I've been in this house, when i was a teen back in the late 80's for a few parties. The man who built it and owned it then owns many car dealerships in NY and FL (and one of the fastest racing yachts in the world, he's raced the King of Spain). He sold it many years ago to a Russian emigre. I don't know who currently owns it.

yes, but it was 80's tacky then. it was in some design magazine at the time, it had lucite bannisters on the stairways which were quite the big deal the outside is pretty much the same.

Oh my god, that description wcg--how deliciously, repulsively tacky. In my mind it's like a real estate version of a car wreck you can't look away from.

My first thought from the exterior pics was that of a medispa in a business park like faithanne said.
