    Default Mid-Century House Renovation

Stunning Mid-Century House Renovation by Mitchell Weisberg

Originally built in 1955 by HB Wolff & Co, Elm House was renovated and re-built from top to bottom in 2008 by developer/designer Mitchell Weisberg. This 2,069 square foot, four bedroom, three bathroom residence is located in Krisana Park, one of the nicest mid-century modern neighborhoods in Denver, Colorado. Beautifully restored, the house, which hit the market in early 2009, is currently listed for $582,000.

No. They completely negated the mid-century character of the house. It could have been gorgeous but these tacky fuckers ruined it.

Great house, really bad staging. I hate every ceiling lamp in the place. Every plant and chair was purchased for this photo shoot, and all the fakery is ugly.

They really took all the soul out of it. I've been to a dinner party in that neighborhood and it was gorgeous.

It's messed up. There's no style, no consistency. I bet it cost a bundle but it looks like crap.

Horrible "renovation". That said, it wasn't an Eichler to begin with either, I'll wager. I've been lucky enough to see a couple of those beautifully restored and period decorated, and although that type of house is so not "me", I still totally fell in love. Amazing homes. Right click and hit view image if you can, these are high-res.
