    Default Patio-House in Spain

Patio-House In Gracia by Carles Enrich, Barcelona, Spain

Carles Enrich completed this remodel of a Patio-House in Gracia, Barcelona, Spain. The result is a home that mixes vestiges of the old home with more modern elements, creating a unique interior, filled with character. Carles Enrich's Patio-House in the Gracia district of Barcelona, Spain, perfectly demonstrates how to optimize space. Each living area is at once private and yet part of one single space, arranged around a patio. Each space has visual contact with the patio, so there's no sense of struggle.

A little too sparse and cold for my taste.

Palta - thanks for chipping in with the house threads. They're some of my favorite things around here. You and Honey do a great job.

The stone wall is awesome! Barrel ceilings make me uncomfortable. All those thick black beams ruin the place, which is a shame because it could have been amazing.

With the first two pictures, I thought ooh, aah lovely outdoor space. Then the third pic - did they go to a junk yard to take that?

Reminds me too much of a serial killer's basement in some aspects, and Dexter's murder slabs in others. Not at all inviting.
