Default A home in Arhus, Denmark

This minimalist villa in Arhus, Denkmark, is designed by Wienberg Architects. The house, measuring only 936 square foot (87 square meters), is bathed in natural light. The exterior consists of clads with vertical panels of wood in a black color with square window varying sizes. The choice of material is consistent throughout the entire house: the old part is kept entirely in a white interior. In the newly build part there is the kitchen in a white combined with steel and concrete.

Bench seating always looks so good but it's such a bitch to sit on. I don't know why these owners are so allergic to art given they have great walls.

    It doesn't seem livable.

i love it but i'd put some art on the walls. i love the sunken den but it needs more cushions to be comfortable.

I guess I'm just not that into minimalist Scandinavian design. You'd think people who live in extreme cold would want warm and cozy design features..

    ^^
    they do have heating.
i know what you mean though. i'm definitely more into this type of thing, i like clean lines and no clutter and natural materials and cool tones - that's what's relaxing and peaceful to me and what i want to be surrounded by at home. other people need the plush cushions and warm tones and lots of colours and more traditional design features because it's what feels homey and peaceful to them.
