    Default A Floating House

Though surprisingly serene, the creek crosses under a freeway. The house nests in a boxlike concrete barge that provides protection and keel-like stability. The metal siding is finished in highly durable fluoropolymer paint to withstand the harsh marine climate.

Why the heck have a bed so high you need a foot stool to get up on it? If you need to look out the window that bad, you should have made the windows lower.

I do love the kitchen and bath, and all those windows are fabulous.

The bed is stupid. I like the dining table/chairs.

I love it, but it doesn't look like you'd have a lot of privacy.

I love the idea of a house on water, but I don't care for this one. And in the pic of the homes lined up, at least 3 of them look like trailers stacked on top of each other.

An acquaintance of mine lives in a houseboat in Sausalito. She's got THE view of San Francisco.

I agree. The inside is nice but I don't care for the tenement on water look of the hood.

All that natural light is awesome. That bed is a drunken leg break waiting to happen. and yeah, the look of the neighborhood doesn't appeal.

I think that bed is interesting. Instead of a dresser that take up room, the whole thing is right there in the bed! I think that is clever and worth a stepping stool.

i like it minus the bed and the atrocious dining table chairs and a few other ugly pieces of furniture and light fixtures that have to go. Love the bar stools though.

Count me as one in the group that I would hate people looking in on me all the time. I am afraid to see where the toilet is.
