Default From a Stone Villa, Mediterranean Views

Giulio Piscitelli for The New York Times

A three-bedroom apartment in the Villa Belvedere, a 1920s house overlooking the Mediterranean on the Italian island of Capri, is on the market for $4.54 million (3.5 million euros). A flight of stone steps leads up to the villa from the road.

The furniture sucks but otherwise it's a beautiful place with incredible views. I love the patio/terrace area.

I'd live in a tent for those views.

Gorgeous. I can hear the cicadas from here.

I love the clever picture over the sofa in the living room. I even like the stencilled walls.

I actually can't find a single thing, other than the view, that I like about this one. What I love about this section of the Grocks is that it helps me figure out my particular taste in architecture, etc. I'm also finding out that I am pretty vanilla in the house taste category.
