Default Near Cape Town, a 300-Year-Old Farm

This 300-year-old farm in the mountainous Winelands region of South Africa has a long driveway passing through fruit groves and vineyards to three large houses. It’s on the market for $3.4 million (30 million rand).

That is a really beautiful house and land. I like the four poster bed. I also love the jacaranda tree in the yard.

I love the inside of this place. It's so much better than that McMansiony front entrance with the gated community looking gate wall would suggest.

Yeah, I didn't have high hopes when I saw the the weird sign. If nothing else, they could take the tacky writing off of it?

It's not to my taste, but it's certainly well-restored. Except the marble-floor-faux-deco-bachelor-pad-from-the-80s. That looks like an afterthought.

I usually don't like stuff like this, but I really like the entire thing. It's very picturesque.

I hate the house, everything but the wine cellar is awful. The grounds are spectacular.

Nice racist house built by the blood, sweat and tears of poor Africans. Yay, how fun. Those damn SA vineyards all look the same to me and they give off bad vibes.

I love the wine cellar/bar area. Very cool. And the purple blooming tree in the front yard.
