    I'm blinded by the white and I think I only see two spots of colour other than drab-- a child's toy and a fire in the stove. Even the kid's clothes are colourless.

    It really is blinding. I always wonder how it affects kids with this much starkness and lack of color.

    You could do a LOT with this space that isn't being done - not even attempted. I love all the windows and skylights.
