I'm shivering with the thought of all the possible slivers I'd get in this house.

Way too much timber and very dark despite those big windows.

I could stay there for a weekend, but no way in hell I could live there.

Love parts of it, I love the simplicity and cool, natural tones but the exterior isn't great and they've got some really pretentious wanker touches inside that would have to go.

Barnboard is not suitable as an interior surface. Dust and cobwebs are impossible to remove from a surface that rough. And in the bathroom? Hell no!

I was thinking the same thing. Great for a vacation or vacation home, but after a while it would grate on my nerves. Plus, looks like it could get mighty "spidery" with all that wood.

That's exactly it. It's different from normal day life, but I couldn't live there day in and day out. And wouldn't want to clean the wood all the time, either...

I suspect the folks who can afford a spot like that in Aspen don't do much of their own cleaning.
