    Default A Colorful Getaway

In contrast to the homes colorful interior, the exterior is painted with Benjamin Moore Black Horizon. Im obsessed with it, Bradford Shellhammer said. Its the perfect gray, blue, black.

It's not "in contrast" when the interior is clearly painted the exact same way. It's just filled with colourful accessories.

It's a great house, and he's got some cool pieces and I even like his toy collection (want the model planes) but someone needs to tell him to tone that technicolor shit down. Mid century clown is not a good look.

If you are resolved to have a house full of color, toys and art, this is the way to do it. I don't think the march of color is oppressive here. The owner put a hell of a lot of thought and work into this. I have to applaud him. No, it's not my taste, but it really works compared to so many similar houses that fail horribly.

I wouldn't mind spending time in this house one bit. In fact, I'd want to explore it.

I love everything about it. I love the use of collectibles to accent the house, rather than teh obvious choice of painting a bright accent wall to bring drama (notice the DRAMA! art above his bed too). I think the Pet Shop Boys poster pretty much sums this place up, it's cool, ecclectic, with a hipster vibe about it. Plus, the boy is cute as a button...even in the purple pants.
