All of the former Yugoslavia is gorgeous. My mom is from Mostar. We used to go every other year when we we're kids. Dubrovnik is beautiful too.

I really love it. I love stone houses. I have no idea why. And the ocean. So the ocean + a stone house = heaven. Yes, I'd change the furniture but otherwise it's lovely.

I had no idea that area was so beautiful Now I long to go there.

Well, since you are "Waterslide" I think you'll be okay.

as for the house, great location but the inside sucks balls. they really fucked up the renovation.
I know I know..but it is the Balkans and all...they can never go more than a decade or two it seems without some ancient ethnic or religious hatreds flaring up into the same reoccurring horrific conflict. If not for that, than yeah.

The area is visually stunning and I doubt there are many areas like that with the extreme mountainous terrain right down to the water with a subtropical climate that have not been either overrun by loud tourist trash, or occupied and walled of by the snotty rich. *sigh*

I swear they're cool now! They realized what a beautiful coast they have and everybody made friends! Croatia sure got a nice chunk of it.
