Okay, I finally get Billy Bob Thornton's phobia of antiques. This is certainly the environment to hang yourself from a chandelier, because it's cold, depressing, creepy with old crap and out in the middle of no where.

The light blue sitting room would be nice without that gilt junk and the godawful mirror.

Having just recently had some things professionally framed, I am blown away by the sheer excess of money it would take to have all that art framed...I couldn't even afford the framing, let alone the art or the house. Not that I would want it. Geez.

I have 2 or 3 pieces a year framed at a shop which does great work and knows me. More often than not, they offer me interesting options using cheap ready-made frames with new matting. It's up to me whether I think the custom framing is better.

I love art. I love getting it framed. I have to limit myself.

That's a museum, not a house. Its 700 years old people, no killing with fire allowed.

I'm getting dizzy. 95 rooms filled with tasteless crap (that's probably worth a fortune here and there, but still). I'd say it's first mentioned in 1530: send Ghosthunters International to the place, maybe they can score some "EVP's".
