Default In Manhattan, Bright and Modern

Barbara Littman’s Chelsea penthouse is a modern Manhattan escape from her home in New Jersey. The sofas are from B&B Italia (about $15,000); the cabinetry is custom-made.

That ugly white plastic chair looks so uncomfortable. I like the bedroom.

Although I don't get the plant pot-installation (and hate the b&w&yellow), it is Manhattan with a private roof top terrace. Can't fault that.

That is exactly what I fault-not the space, but what this twit has done(or not done) with it. I hate every part of it with a passion. Especially that roof top pot thing-wtf? Way to waste a great rooftop space moron.

I hate what she did with the space, and some of those chairs look virtually impossible to sit in.

However, it is Manhattan with a terrace, so I'd just have to work it out.

I'd throw those plant pots over the roof. Okay, I'd actually use them to I don't know, plant something. Line them up against one side (along that wooden wall, because I could grow vines on it if possible) and plant something tall or climbing to cover that wood. Empty pots just for the sake of them being empty is just way too pretentious and contrived.

Well, I think we agree then. The "Mahattan with rooftop"-location is the only thing I don't fault, though I may have worded it wrong(ly?).

What do people have against comfort???

I see exactly 2 pieces of furniture that look comfortable. The beds.

Hoookay. I think that cheesy lounger in the bedroom would be nice for reading if you covered it in pillow pets and snuggies though.

Oh yes. Manhattan with rooftop? Hell yes!!! I would just redo it all and USE the rooftop and all. And kill this woman with fire so she could never ever do this again to another 'Manhattan with rooftop'.
