    Default A cottage in Denmark

In a former fishermen’s cottage outside Copenhagen, a young family has carved out a cozy, light-filled home.

I wonder if the real residents, and not the models, have to wear shades inside with all that blinding white.

Those low, sloping ceilings would drive me nuts, as would the blinding whiteness.

It's too impersonal. I know everyone isn't into knickknacks, but you'd think they'd have something there - photos, books, sculptures, etc. It looks like they could abandon the house in 20 seconds and you'd never know they were there.

Being snow blind I couldn't (and wouldn't) live there: I'd literally be blinded by the white.

ha! i guess i'm the lone freak who loves the white walls, ceilings and floors. it's soothing to me. i also hate warm whites and beiges (they just look dirty to me) so i like white paint that is truly white.
love the dining room table and chairs. and the staircase with the carved out hollows.
    overall i really like this.

We have stark white ceilings, and softer, though still bright, white walls and cream white woodwork. But it doesn't look this blinding because everything else in our house has color, if only as accents or soft color tones. This is way too bright and monotonous.

    colour's overrated
    different strokes i guess.
i like wood, white (true white, not dirty white) walls, greys, and accents in soft blues and greens and the odd small pop of colour.
i don't want to live in a place that screams at me in technicolor or, even worse, warm earth tones.

I just want to take a bath in any color food dye and fling myself all over that house.
