    Default A flat in Bratislava

The budget was nearly as tight as the space in this renovation of a 516-square-foot flat in Bratislava.

Hate the decor and I could never live in a space that small. I would have a nervous breakdown.

All that clutter would give me a seizure. The retro stereo made me laugh.

I want one of those stereos so badly. I miss vinyl. If and when we ever settle down, that will be my spare change purchase.

The ceilings of this apartment give they feeling they might fall at any moment. Do not like.

I was just wondering about the bathroom. Sponge baths and using a chamber pot is where I draw the line.

48sq m for one person is not small at all. Millions of people are able to live and thrive in a flat that size all over the world. It's not exactly a box, though the pictures and the clutter don't help sending the opposite message.

Love the kitchen, but the cavelike ceiling makes me nervous.

It totally is! My brother still has his from the early 80s. There are about 15 components to it that all stack on top of one another. He still thinks it's the most beautiful thing ever made. LOL

Oh! Could it be a US vs EU thing? I know a couple of high end audio shops & they sell "stackables", or maybe I'm just prejudice since I have a denon amp?

What's the modern US thing? Out of interest? Pls?
