The home where she turned her life around: Britney Spears' plush former pad is up for sale for $10million

It's a place that will no doubt bring back mixed emotions for Britney Spears.

But the opulent home where the singer moved to following her public meltdown in 2008 has been listed for sale - for nearly $10million.

The singer holed up in the luxury abode, which boasts seven bedrooms for three years moving out of the property in December 2011.

As well as sprawling across 19,000 square feet the spacious property has eight bathrooms and Britney is said to have spent $25,000 a month renting the impressive pad.
The singer, who is now happily engaged to Jason Trawick, lived in the property with her two sons from her marriage to Kevin Federline Sean Preston and Jayden James.
The estate has three well kept lawns and a pool which will have no doubt kept the young boys entertained throughout their stay.

Fancy a game of tennis: The property also boasts a large tennis court

There is also a tennis court, a ballroom and a gymnasium.

The Tudor-style estate is located in suburban Hidden Hills, and is being offered by Partners Trust.
Before moving in to the home Britney's personal and professional lives had taken nosedives.

She was embroiled in a custody battle with her ex Kevin Federline and in January of 2008 she was hospitalized after police arrived at her house.

The year before Britney had famously shaved her hair off after spending just one day in a drug rehabilitation facility in Antigua for less than one day.

2007 was also the year that she took to the stage at the MTV Awards and her rendition of Gimme More shocked fans when she failed to lip sync in time and moved sluggishly around the stage.

Well kept: The huge estate has no less than three manicured lawns so there is no shortage of outside space

During her stay at the lavish property Britney got her life back on track.

As well as finding love again with Trawick she also got her career together again.

Britney has recently enjoyed a sell-out world tour and is also the latest name being touted as a possible judge for the X Factor USA judging panel.

Wrong, she lived in Calabasas until she moved into this one in Hidden Hills just one year ago.

It's not just the decor. It's the architecture, too, that's hideous. The exterior is nice. The inside is so choppy and squat. Shiny tile floors all over the house and the inexplicable wooden nooks and wall pieces, it's ugly and cheap. Britney needs one nice house and a beach bungalow, not all these shitty little properties (which she probably bought while pink wigging.)
