Default What product(s) do you use to clean your kitchen/bath?

Usually I use Lysol Kitchen spray but I had coupons for Clorox Kitchen Wipes. They are the worst. Anyone else use them. They dont really cut the grease or get dried/baked on stuff off. I also got Clorox Anywhere daily sanitizing spray. Dont really need it. I still use Febreeze.

Water and vinegar, it kills 99.6% of germs and bacteria (whereas bleach is 99.7-9%) except that vinegar isn't at all dangerous, and when it dries the smell goes.

I do use a mixture of alcohol and water to clean my mirrors and Ill use it also my counters from time to time. Its excellent for pen marks.
I use Zud on my counters when I have a stain like from tea, coffee or juice. The first time I used it it blew me away. I didnt think I could get a juice stain out but it worked.
I do use vinegar and water when cleaning my floors but Ill take your advise SVZ and use it also for cleaning my counters. Thanks!!

If you can afford it, get one of those steam buggies as well. They're really useful and fun to use (They do wonders on hair too but shhhh )

I use a swiss brand of ecological cleaning products, Held. It's recommended by the WWF

I like Lysol for the kitchen countertops, I use those vinegar Grab It! wipes to clean the floors, and I like The Method Eucalyptus cleaner for the bathrooms.

Vinegar and water and baking soda (excellent for grease) are my staples. The cleaners use Pink, an eco-friendly solution, for everything. It will wash your clothes, scrub your floor and clean your toilet -- it is gentle, and smells good, too. I'm trying to wean my husband off harsh chemicals because half of them don't work, they're toxic, and I'd rather use natural products. Plus, I can't stand the smell.

Looove Method! I use it for everything - hand soap, kitchen cleaner, shower cleaner, etc. Not tested on animals either.

We've always used vinegar and water for just about everything. Our cleaning service (dad works full time, my mom is handicapped from a car accident and now that I don't live at home anymore someone comes to help once or twice a month) insists on vinegar and water too. We have other products in our cabinet for them, but they prefer the vinegar.

Great info!! I always use baking soda and vinegar to clean my sink but I never thought to clean counters and bathrooms with vinegar, I'll try it.

I make my own stuff: 1/3 Cloudy Ammonia, 1/3 Methylated Spirit, 1/3 Water in a garden spray bottle. Cleans EVERYTHING to a sparkle including glass. Stinks a bit though. If you have stainless steel spashbacks, fridge, etc spray/wipe with WD40.

I have tried the vinegar and water mixed but found it didn't really clean that bath or sink that well. I find bleach to be useful but yes the smell is very bad and usually ends up giving me a headache. Other than that I will just buy the supermarket variety cleaning agent.
