Default In Norway, a Home and Corporate Headquarters

Goeril Saetre for The New York Times
Njal Hansen Wilberg and his wife, Linn Dyveke Wilberg, wanted a home for their family and a home office for their company, Beat.no, a music streaming service. Perched on a craggy patch of Mjomna, a remote island on the western coast of Norway, the two-story, 2,648-square-foot structure was completed in May 2010 for roughly $900,000.

Goeril Saetre for The New York Times
From a cubed annex on the second floor of their home, Njal Hansen Wilberg and Linn Dyveke Wilberg run Beat.no, a music-streaming service. The light fixture was bought for $85 from Ikea. Behind their desks, an Ikea shelf is lined with books about photography and design.

cool house though i would change a few things. and i really don't like long, narrow kitchens. they're a pain in the ass.

Agree about that kitchen, but the views are pretty neat.

Has so much potential based on the front exterior. But interior really needs some color, too much beige/white, their plants look half dead and too small for the space. Oh and those desks look cheap. And the outside patio area is lacking as well.

It does need some color, but it's very clean looking. And, the views are soothing. How nice that they can run a business from - literally - wherever.

agree about that kitchen, i hate kitchens like that. The only part of it I think isn't depressing is the chandelier thing over the table.
