$3.7 million for that??? The whole thing is a waste of material.

This lime-green house is owned by two brothers — Gabor Luka, 40, a veterinarian, and Tibor Luka, 43, a financial adviser. The boxy concrete structure took 18 months to complete at a cost of $3.7 million. The Luka brothers and their families moved into the building in 2009. The entrance to the younger brother’s home is through an open-air concrete enclave.

The front patio of the Tibor Luka’s home is adorned with an olive tree from Portugal, left, and a potted banana and alocasia tree, right. The wicker chair was bought in 1986 in California ($330). The boxy cut out window panes offer a view of Mont Salève in France.

In Tibor Luka’s house, a metallic light fixture at the center of the kitchen is by the French designer Ross Lovegrove ($2,100). Beyond the light is a stainless-steel Siemens island cooker chimney and a De Dietrich glass cooktop. The four white plastic and brushed steel base bar chairs are by Fly, a furniture store in France ($130 each).

I like it.
I like it, except the dead animals on the walls. Very minimalist, but without being all-white as minimalist homes often are.
But it says " took 18 months to complete at a cost of $3.7 million."
We can't just be talking the build cost, that has to include the land, fixtures & furnishings. I'm surprised it took so long to build too.
