Teenage angst has paid off well.
Frances Bean Cobain, the 19-year-old daughter of late Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain and Courtney Love, purchased a home of her own in Los Angeles for $1.825 million through a trust, according to The Real Estalker.
And while you'd expect the daughter of a woman who just told Vanity Fair that if her husband came back from the dead she'd "f---ing kill him. I'd f--- him, and then I'd kill him," to live in a gothed-out dungeon of doom, the house is a pretty normal looking Spanish-style spread.
Since Cobain inherited a mutli-million dollar trust when she turned 18, she could have gone much larger, but instead settled on this 3,350-square-foot four-bedroom home. The home was built in 1930, and still maintains many original details, such as hand-forged iron work, decorative tiles, stained glass windows, and vintage light fixtures, according to The Real Estalker.
Cobain reportedly goes to Bard College in upstate New York, so it's unclear how much time she'll be spending in her new digs.
