Default Perched on a ridge top in Bell Canyon

The redwood-and-glass house with four bedrooms and three bathrooms is an early work of modernist Malibu architect Ed Niles, known for creating homes that connect to the outdoors and maximize the use of natural light.

Love the outside (the design and how it blends in with the surroundings), but the inside is boring and sterile.

Sure is. Why? It would not have been that way in the early 60s. There would've been wild abstract art and rill big lamps and fabulous moderne furniture with orange upholstery and and...

As it is now, it's just like being in a big fishbowl. I like light but not that much!!!

Really interesting house but it needs to be properly decked out.

It would look x1000 better without those nasty white ceramic tiles everywhere. It looks like a swimming pool changing room.

This. You could do alot with the inside with some (major)tweaking and all.

The outside is quite attractive-I would get rid of some of that grass and extend the outside living areas, but overall I like it.

Soj - getting rid of the grass is a great idea. It's such a thin strip there, you could totally turn it into an outside room.

It looks like a "facility" instead of a home.
