Stuart Isett for The New York Times
A two-bedroom, two-and-a-half-bath house on Colvos Passage — a narrow waterway that flows into the Puget Sound — is on the market in Olalla, Wash., for $848,000.

Outside, a wooden deck has steps down to a concrete deck and a boat dock. There’s also a boat ramp.

if 'american psycho' and bozo the clown had a baby, this is what he'd decorate his house like.

A little too much primary coloring, but the house itself looks pretty cool. The more I look at these, the more I realize I should on the water at some point in my life.

Lucky thing there was a photographer ready, awaiting one of the rare 6 days a year it isn't raining to take these photos.

Gorgeous home, except for the playskool colors - they'd be the first thing to go. Love the slate in the living room.

Cool looking house. I love that shade of blue, but they went way overboard with it.

The colors remind me of a fast food restaurant.

This is one of the few times that as I was looking at the pictures I wasn't judging the house, but was instead remodeling it. I visualized a toned down paint in the living room, maybe with a subtle accent wall or color, and removing that large chrome-like pole in the middle of the room. It looks like a nice house, has great curb appeal and a beautiful deck out back...it has great potential.

It looks like something from the set of an MTV reality show.
