I know it's an old house, but that's just too much dark wood in the interior for my taste. I'd still take it though and just redecorate.

I love it. So cool looking with all the trees.

    I could "escape" there frequently.

i love the house itself but it needs stark white walls to counterbalance all the wood, and a few modern pieces to make it less country cutesy.
i hate their obsession with wicker furniture and bistro chairs and the disgusting paint finishes - does anyone still like those gross sponge paint finishes that were all the rage in the early 90s? they were bad enough then, nowadays they are simply unjustifiable. that first bed is also really ugly.

I kind of like it but the unfinished wood makes me itch and think of spiders and splinters. I'd still take it, but not until I'd had a sander to it.

What is going on with the bath tub? Looks gross on one side.

^ Yeah, I'd probably leave the tub in the original condition too, as long as it didn't rot thru during a bath.

No. Homes with a lot of dark wood feel oppressive to me. The bathtub looks like it's growing its own furry friends, and the first bed looks ugly and uncomfortable.

The only room I like is the one with all the windows, but the chairs are hideous.
