The bedroom is a great space. Shame about the bikes on the wall (WTF?)

The make-shift corner fireplace is tragic. Looks terribly out of place and unessential.

What is that, a Walmart fireplace?
I like the space but would totally redecorate it.

Love the brick wall but agree the fireplace needs to be redone.

I guess that means there is absolutely no storage space in which to put them-makes me think of Seinfeld.

Overall it is ok, but the outside is just so stark, and I bet parking is a bitch.

Parking is a bitch everywhere in Chicago and lots of people have to bring their bikes in.

I love the exposed brick, the yellow wall and the countertops. Some of the rest of it looks pedestrian and I wonder why it was featured in the NY Times.

I would totally live there, except that fireplace would be fucking GONE.

... along with those awful Ikea POANG chairs. I'm so fucking sick of those.

awesome space. has so much potential. chuck out the furniture (i do like the wooden bookshelf in the living room though), get rid of the nasty yellow wall, change that fugly white closet door, destroy the fireplace and redo the kitchen cabinets and i would so live there.
