Default A stately labor of love in Altadena

After three years of painstaking planning, couple's Georgian Colonial estate is exactly what they envisioned.

Looks like a book store, for some reason.

Absolutely no personality in that joint.

It needs a proper pitched roof. Some of the interior wall colours are OK except the blue dining room. The kitchen is HUGE! I could do something with this.

It looks like it's roof was blown off or something-has a squashed down look from the outside-and for that kind of McMansion house, the ceilings inside seem too low as well. And it does lack 'personality' imo.

In an area that is naturally a semi-desert. And they wonder about their water woes.

I love parts of it- namely the wainscoting, the floors, and the staircase. Overally it has good bones. My main critique is the furniture. I don't like any of it.
