A four-bedroom house in Botkinburg, Ark., is on the market for $535,000. The house was built in 2002; it runs on solar power (but also has a generator). Set on five acres, it has a garden. It is being sold furnished.

Cute place and cosy looking, but I'd have to re decorate. That light is good for the appearance though!

I don't care to live in Arkansas, but I LOVE this house. It is so wonderful and seems so comfortable. I would kill to live there (if it weren't in Arkansas).

I love the outside and the surroundings, but I can't stand wood paneling on every frickin' wall. Kitchen looks kinda small for this place.

Hate tile countertops, knotty pine & that weird color floor. It's nothing special at all, and I can't possibly imagine why it's on the market for so much. For half a million in this state, especially away from cities, you ought to have 5,000 square feet of gorgeous with an inground pool. I don't get it.

^I agree it is extremely overpriced for the area and with that small of acreage. I was expecting for this price that it would have 20 or more acres of land.

Pick it up and put in in Lake Placid and I'd be happy to call it home. I want nothing more than to have a rustic home in the middle of the woods somewhere.

I worry about the little stream that seems to go through where the house is. God help you if there is ever a flash flood.
