    Default The House of Color

After globe-trotting for more than four years, the French couple Marie Fabre, 53, and Frédéric Escudier, 48, settled in Siem Reap, Cambodia, where they built this two-bedroom, 3,000-square-foot home for around $300,000.

It's a bit too warehousey for my liking. I like bits and pieces of it, like the curved seat under the window.

Wouldn't want to live there, but that would be fun to hang out in for a weekend.

Ugly, yet kinda cool. I'd also hang out there just for a weekend.

I love it. The kitchen reminds me of my art classroom though.

Love it for them. It is a fearless, highly personal space and very fun. Even the floors. I have never seen so many ceiling fans, must be low energy usage, too.

I was expecting a little more actual....color. The walls are still white. It's OK though.

Basically looks like they went to a clearance warehouse and just bought whatever was available and put it together....more of out necessity than planned style. "oh look, there's a half a pallet of orange tile, let's get it." "Oh, and over there, some left over government funded paint."

I love it all except the floors. Don't care for painted floors and especially tile or concrete painted floors. Looks sloppy and dirty. It's great otherwise and I'd adore living in it!
