This seven-bedroom, four-and-a-half bath English Tudor house was built in 1914 in Kansas City, Mo. It's on the market for $876,000.

Ha! I know that house, its in the Country Club Plaza district.

I adore just about everything except the dentist's office leather living room furniture. My sister has the exact same suite and I can't stand it.

I love it all except the obnoxious foray into art deco the 2nd sitting area and fireplace took. Totally out of place with the rest of the gorgeous house.
That does look out of place.
I like the kitchen. And love the exterior. I don't like the excess of wood in the dining area.

that dining room is all kinds of hideous and depressing.
and really, family pictures above the fireplace?
the whole interior just doesn't make sense and is a boring mish mash of too many styles.
i do love the bathroom sink and tiles though.

Overall I like it. Not everything of course, but overall: Yes!
It's not Kansas, it's in Missouri, across the river. Same city name, two states.
For $876,000 in the midwest I'd buy acres of land first before I even looked at that monster. Good luck to them selling that thing. And I just 'love' the white slip cover on the chair. These people have no taste in furniture whatsoever, and none of the house flows. They'd be better off emptying it, hiring a pro to furnish it (renting the furniture), and then trying to sell it for their absurd dollar amount.
Is it normal to have chandeliers in the bedroom? It seems so out of place to me, but then again, I live out west.
Finally, I'd hate having a sink with no mirror over it. And at least hide the scale on the bottom right in the bathroom.
So in short - hate it!
Not my style. Especially the kitchen - I hate white kitchens with a passion.
I really love this from the outside!
I am going to come and burn the fucking house down... but you will blow me first."
Overall, yes - I love the space and the potential it has to be something fabulous. For a huge house, the furniture is pretty plain and uninteresting.
