they need to burn in hell for their wall (and ceiling) paint choices.

I read arts & crafts and think construction paper and glue sticks, paper mache and scrap booking.

it's a mess construction wise. and those low ceilings make me feel super uncomfortable and claustrophobic.

I like the above ground Hobbit hole. It just needs some editing and different paint.

*groan* just because it uses lots of wood doesn't make it "Arts & Crafts".

The house is a modern(ish) build using wood. It's ok, but I don't think that I'd pay $1.8m for it... but it's seriously an insult to call it's Arts & Crafts.

They qualified it with it being 'Arts and Crafts style" but yeah, it sucks and almost looks like it belongs in Munchkinland or something-way overpriced-must be the property itself and not the dwelling, and being in SB and all.

Who the fuck would pay nearly two million for that?

At least it isn't cookie cutter and no one went for white walls for sure! It is certainly one of a kind. I would tone down some colors. That low ceiling looks energy efficient. I have sky high ones that cost dearly in summer. Seems like those elephant foot columns are a waste of rocks. Mostly quite livable and that kitchen could be fun. Well stocked-but that price is outta sight.

I would have made a large rock climber wall out back! Then planted vines. Kept a few for the fish pond.

But there is nothing there that is Arts & Crafts other than the wood, no detailing, nothing.....

I don't like their choice of decoration, but I do like the house itself.
