Default Rundown garages on sale for £1.25m

For a £1.25million price tag, most buyers would probably hope for a luxury mansion flat or sprawling country pad.
But the whopping sum is the estimate placed on these rundown garages, complete with mildew on the paintwork and overgrown shrubbery.
They have received such a huge guide price from estate agents Knight Frank because they are in the fashionable Primrose Hill district of London.
Enlarge Bargain: These garages in Primrose Hill, London, are on the market for £1.25m

It is known as a celebrity hangout with Kate Moss at the heart of the so-called 'Primrose Hill' set. TV chef Jamie Oliver and actor Jude Law also have homes there.
The garages do not even have planning permission in place but the property is being billed as a golden opportunity to develop.
It does have free title so that any building work could go ahead.
Knight Frank describes the site as a 'fantastic freehold' and is confident it will manage to secure the full asking price.

I hope someone buys it and turns it into a homeless shelter.

Well the price reflects that you are paying for the real estate, the land, and not what is currently on it. Right?

I suppose you could buy it and build a multi-unit building(if codes allow) and sell if or the units in it and still make money?

You could put one "unit" on it & still make a profit in that area.
