I kinda like alot of it. Is that a real stream running right outside the house? If so I would worry about flooding. Way too close to the house. And I hate that rug that looks like a dead Polar bear.

I really like that bedroom. So sue me, ok? lol. I do not know why, I just like it.

Kitchen, dining, living area needs ceilings.

That "landscaping" in the front is horrible.

Probably looks better when things start growing in the spring.

I like the bedroom too, Soj. Well, minus the polar bear rugs. I think it's all the wood that gives it a warm, homey, welcoming feeling.

But yeah that kitchen definitely needs a ceiling, it looks like it was left unfinished. Don't care for the stone fireplace, it looks clunky. I really like the stained glass squares on the door behind the dining table.

i like it. i dig the mix of modern and rustic, i love the exposed beams and pipe in the kitchen and i wouldn't put ceilings in either, they just make the room seem lower and it's already dark enough as it is.
and i agree with twitchy, the outside probably looks less gloomy when stuff is actually growing.

The open bit with the beams I love, I just have a peeve with removed ceilings. It feels oddly oppressive to me to have a dark colour above me. I just don't like all the dark wood overhead and the unfinished look. One of the neighbours took out their ceilings and the first thing everyone does upon entering is look up and ask how their renovation is going.
