    Default Joshua Tree Home

    Home of the Week

( Andrew Beneze ) On approach, the Joshua Tree Boulder House is almost indistinguishable from the desert landscape that inspired it.

I like it. Don't love it, but has some interesting designs. Like the bathroom windows, etc.

I love it. Would really need the AC on alot though.

And if there are real Joshua trees around, I would love it even more. I love those things. There is one kind that grows very high up in Cali and somewhere else..supposed to be hardy to -15 F. I would love to be able to grow one..just would need a very protected space with incredibly good drainage and alot of luck.

*Is that outside facing copper? If so, it would weather and oxidize to that beautiful green color, right?

I love the way the house fits into the surroundings. Front almost melts in. Wish we had more of that.

This is really great. The kitchen is fabulous and that evening view of the desert and the mountains - sigh.
