Default Donna Karan's Central Park West apartment

In honor of fashion week, I'm going to be posting some of my favorite fashionable interiors this week. Donna Karan is celebrating her 25th anniversary of her company and putting on her fashion show so I couldn't think of a better fashion designer to start things off. Her 7,000 SF space on Central Park West is a little too urban zen modern for me but that's what makes it so perfect for the woman who counts the Dali Lama among her closest acquaintances. "My home celebrates my family and friends, art and culture, and it holds the memories that are a part of who I am," say Ms. Karan. That Francis Bacon is pretty memorable too! Here's to another 25 years Donna!

have to agree with the blogger, it's too zen urban modern, but a fabulous space nevertheless. and she's got some amazing art. i'd give my right tit for a francis bacon.

The outside makes me drool. Inside... I'd be too scared to touch anything. It's all so perfect.

Meh. I don't get why people think a view of a bunch of stark, concrete buildings and skyscrapers is so wonderful. I'd rather look at natural beauty instead of that crap.

i am a little jealous that she's had her pic taken with the dalai lama.

That's a great view. It overlooks Central Park. It has nature and the skyline. Doesn't get better in a city.

Gorgeous! The space, the décor, the view...and of course, the doggie.
