Default Alvar Aalto's La Maison Carré

this is what google translate came up with (it's from a belgian website so it's all flemish), apologies for the mangled english:

A milestone with a stunning architecture and interior as well as intact: La Maison Carre is a project that the famous Finn Alvar Aalto realized for a French art dealer. Today you can visit the house, a stone's throw from Paris. La Maison Carré is near Montfort l'Amaury, a picturesque village near Versailles. Perfect for a weekend away.

Now I really like this. It could use a bit of color inside and out, but overall, concrete modern boxes done very well inside and out, great detailing.

The interior speaks of quality and precision-that 'God is in the details thing"-the details being very expensive and perfectly worked quality materials.

I will admit it could use something like some more color to make it 'pop' a bit, but overall, I really like it. And of course I love that library and BOOKS!!!
Don't slap me, cause I'm not in the mood!

    i want it.
but i'd mix up the wood tones more and introduce more artwork.

"A milestone with a stunning architecture and interior as well as intact"
this should be something like "an architectural milestone with a wonderful interior that was kept intact".

i suck almost as much as google translation.

Very nice. Looks like you could really relax there.

Boring and boring though the design outside is cool.

Functional but souless. You can imagine the people who live there wearing nothing but grey or beige.
