    i like it a lot but i'd replace that decorative light fixture with something more practical.

    i'm noticing a lot of recent remodels put ornate light fixtures in an otherwise casual kitchen, is this a new trend? not digging it.

    The only thing positive about this remodel is the conversion to the gas range. The rest of it just doesn't do anything for me.

    I like the cabinets but not the tile. They remind me of a bathroom.

    It's an improvement from downright ugly before, but IMO it's bland and boring.

    no, not that i know. the primary function of kitchen lighting has always been illuminating the workspaces, the secondary one is decorative.
    but the thing that bothers me here is that there is no additional lighting. no fluorescent lights or spots or recessed lights or ...
