Fuck yeah! It's San Francisco. And I am used to small spaces.

not thrilled with the after but the loft itself is pretty nice. can't really tell the size of this place from the photos, some of the lofts in SOMA are large and others are not.

It's not bad. I think some of those colors would look really nice in the cool-toned light of SF.

Nothing spesh and the blue chairs don't work at all in that colour scheme.

I like the before paint color much more than the after.

    ^ i agree. it's a prettier colour.

i'd keep the blue armchairs & the ugly brown carpet. everything else would go.

I should admit I am partial because my living/dining room and upstairs landing are a similar shade!

When I moved to California, I found I had to choose very different decor colors than I had in Texas. My formerly favorite wall colors didn't work at all. Grayish lavender actually works very well out here, even though it's not a color I would've chosen otherwise.

In the abstract, I prefer the warmer "before" color.

i wouldn't choose lavender either but i love cool tones and i hate anything warm and yellowy on walls. not a fan of earth tones either.

i'm color-blind so not as particular about color as the rest of you. but the loft is in a great location so that is part of its appeal - you can walk to nice restaurants and bars. not too far from the freeway, either.

lol i'm colour blind too. we're genetic freaks.
but i'm still picky and much prefer cool tones. actually what i prefer is white walls but after that, i'll take greys and other cool colours. i despise off whites. people like them because they're warm but to me they just look like dirty, yellowed white walls.
