Just about anything would be an improvement over the before.

The shelves. Come ON. Could anybody keep them looking that way? Who has little boxes and bottles of products that match, with no labels or anything?

^ i agree. they haven't got the space for a bathtub, they should have installed a shower.

We have wooden floors throughout, including bathrooms, and it's not a problem. You have to use a bathmat to prevent slipping but after several years there's no rot or water damage at all. They have been triple sealed mind you.

As for this bathroom, the dimensions and shape of the "before" room bear no resemblance to the "after" room. And yes, that space is way too narrow for a bath. Stupid idea.

yeah, we have wooden floors in the bathroom as well. it's fine as long as you take care of it.

this space is so small they should have just made it into a WC, not bothered with a tub or a shower.

Just about anything would be an improvement on the before, but I think this is a really impractical bathroom.
