The wallpaper in the bathroom has got to be straight from hell. It damn near made my eyes cross.

Anyway, the whole place screams rich snob to me. It also looks very 80's. Definitely not my cup of tea.

I love the house and it's stucture(I love the Tudor look). spaces, etc. but alot of the decor does look 'piss elegant' and all. And the bathroom wallpaper is horrible(the dining room drapery is just as bad...and the chair upholstery looks like serpents screwing! ). With some changes in the decor it would be great. I love the wood walls, but they do not seem to be 'integrated' very well.
Don't slap me, cause I'm not in the mood!

The overall space is wonderful, but it needs a major makeover IMO. The wood paneling and the foofoo ceilings are a little too pretentious and faux-riche. The master bedroom is a great size and the open floorplan and the big windows are a plus.

I'd keep the wood panelling, the parquet floors and the ceilings. Burn the rest. The kitchen is especially knackered.

I love old houses in general and quake at the thought of major renovations to an Elmer Grey house. Restoration is the way to go, and a lot of this is original, no doubt.

I think that exploding cat wallpaper is hilarious!

Oh and the library needs more shelving and fewer useless expanses of wood.

The really sad part is that one roll of that wallpaper probably cost more than the average person would spend on papering their entire home. Vile.
