    love it.
i'd mix a few modern chairs in with the more antique ones he has but overall it's a gorgeous place.

Seems to have a lot of quiet charm. I like it. You say dark-I say cozy!

I'm not totally crazy about how it's furnished - like sput, I'd add some modern pieces - but the house itself is gorgeous. It's got about the right amount of light for me. I'm not a fan of big, bright open spaces. Hurts my eyes.

My place makes this place look as bright as the surface of the sun!

I like it, but are those deer antlers on the wall? *shudder*

I'm just struck by the practical over the aesthetic on this one. Two things about stripping a wall down to the bricks:

    1. No insulation. Cold in winter. Hot in summer.

    2. Dust and cobwebs really like to stick to that.

And... Getting rid of the ceilings and exposing the rafters means that noise travels between floor more easily and dust and dirt will percolate down between the spaces between floorboards.

Maybe the antlers are meant to be some sort of towel bar?
