Default A former slaughterhouse in Sweden

A former slaughterhouse in Ulricehamn, Sweden, was transformed into this fabulous coveted crib. Outfitted with furniture and accessories from around the world, the space feels much more metropolitan than you'd expect from a rural Swedish home. An extensive collection of artwork is mixed with both vintage and modern furniture.

I don't know if I could live in a slaughterhouse. I think it would give me the heeby geebeez. Plus, it's ugly.

I don't know that I would ever sleep if my bedroom looked like that.

^^I know. I think it would make me so uncomfortable that it would drive me the hell out of there. The picture alone gives me the heebie jeebies so I know that I could not sleep in there.

Great space but the decorating is something out of a haunted house.

the space itself is gorgeous, the outside too. i wouldn't mind the former slaughterhouse part at all.
as for the decorating, they have some great pieces (like that leather jacobsen armchair... *drools*) but overall there's too much colour and too much going on. not relaxing or restful at all and i like living in calm spaces in more muted and cool tones, not vibrant technicolor funkiness that's better suited to a restaurant or club or shop.

    great collection of chairs.
it's okay but it'd look better if they got rid of the faux-looking pillars & the artwork.
