    Default Bold-color kitchen makeover

    Kitchen: Before

Earlier upgrades brought in open shelves and white walls, and, later, a niche for the fridge and bamboo floors.

The cabinets and counters stayed the same, but a carefully composed riot of colors makes the remodeled room as warm and welcoming as its 1940s stove.

I love the red but the yellow is too much.

I wouldn't have used the headache-inducing colors all at once but the new space is very nice. (And I do love the red stove.)

It's loud, but I just want to get in there and start cooking. Love the stove. Love the floor. Good food would come from that room.

I don't think I could live with it, but I really like it. Very cool.

I agree with most-the red was a good idea, but the yellow..too much. Too much like a playroom for kids or something. Too much of a good thing.

The yellow is too strong. Couldn't they have chosen a softer yellow?
