Default A castle on a vineyard

In 2005 Rune Andersen bought the Chateau de Robernier, a 22-bedroom castle in Provence that is a 45-minute drive from St. Tropez. It has 24,000 square feet of living space, and the oldest part of the stone structure dates from around 1650.

Obviously for parties. Which we will not be invited to attend!

I like the drapery of the ballroom ceiling, except--is that a semi-permanent feature, and if so, how on earth do they clean all of it? Looks like one helluva dust trap.

Anyway, this place isn't my style, but I adore it. It's in beautiful condition.

It's a shitty modernisation, the room with the knocked down ceilings, the bathroom, the hallway with the remade windows, the ridiculous downstair room with material on the ceilings have nothing to do with that kind of building, lots of money invested to take all the charm away

A lovely hotel with no personal touches whatsoever.

Absolutely gorgeous, except for the hideous basement.

That basement looks like something out of Hellraiser. I'd be scared that any minute Pinhead would come floating out and try to eat my eyeballs.

OMG I am drooling on my shoes.

*Runs out of thread and into vintage costume shop to dress like royalty and squat in said castle*

Here's the plan I'll get in and leave the door open and ya all just scuttle in after, alright? Alright!

Well said, and it's too effing clean to be a castle.
