    Default Maison Amtrak

With nearly a half century of architectural experience, Peter Cohen designed this ingenious spine-and-module home for him and his wife Sally in the coastal forests just outside Ellsworth, Maine.

I'd change some details of the decor, but yeah, it's a really nice house. I really like the various windows and the way one space flows into another.

those are the pieces that i noticed the most, too.

what's cool to think about is that i bet those people have had those pieces of furniture for quite a long time...there's some lived-in appeal to them & that makes them even cooler, imo.

This is so neat and so well thought out! I love what they have done. Great art,too-though a couple are oddly hung. To me,I mean.

I prefer darkwood stain or cherry over light or medium. i dislike that "orangey" look.

Beautiful home. I love how the photos leave you wanting to see more of the house.

The exterior is interesting. The interior is a 1970s horror and has no redeeming features whatsoever. Burn the lot, especially the timber window/door frames.

    It has a good feeling.

Good taste and placement of art too.
