Default A harmonious merger of two 1863 row houses

In the Georgetown area of Washington, D.C., Simon Jacobsen, of Jacobsen Architecture, restored and renovated a pair of side-by-side 1863 row houses, joining them as a single residence.

I don't like what they've done to the interior at al. They sucked all the character out of those old fabulous homes.

Yeah, all the good stuff about having a house from 1863 is gone. No historical integrity left to the place.

i like it, too. and the things that i don't like about it (the picture & lamps in the bedroom), can easily be changed.
