    Default Barn house

A house whose design is inspired in the surrounding countryside, and which can be said to represent a continuation and an extension of landscape architecture. The structure of the landscape is the key to the design of the house.

i'd get rid of all the furniture but i love the design of the house itself and the location.

I agree. Another home that reminds me of a doctor's examining room.

There are ways to accomplish modern, neat, and uncluttered without such froideur.

I do love the outside...Where I live there are lots of old barns that have been refurbished and I have always wanted one.

Awful - it looks so drab and grey from the outside and lacks any sense of warmth inside.

i believe that was the intent. it's not obtrusive this way. sort of matches the weather. the land is really flat & is mostly used for agricultural purposes. there are a lot of cycling routes too. there's one, called the 'cycling highway', that leads directly to the sea. no cars & no houses as far as you can see, except the occasional farm or barn & little quaint cafés at intersections.

I love it except for the fact that you have no privacy!

Hate it. I love barns and I love old farmhouses, but I despise barn houses.
