Default Julianne Moore's West Village townhouse

On the market for $12 million

The late 1800s home has been meticulously renovated, retaining original architectural details like crown moldings and wide plank floors, but was updated with the latest modern amenities. Moore chose my favorite color as of late gray as a base for several rooms. Overall, the rooms look well-traveled (heavy on the Japanese designs), a bit rustic, and comfortably polished.

Yeah, I'm with Grimm on this one. Love the kitchen (quite a bit), but that bedroom is too narrow or something. It might be the way it was photographed, but it looks like the bed is a foot from the fire place.

The rest of the house needs a makeover, as well.

oops, i posted these pics in the celebrity homes thread.

    ---

i hate the kitchen, it doesn't match the rest of the interior. and i'd probably throw out the blue sofa, followed by that bedframe. but it is one of the more tastefully decorated celebrity homes. i adore the hallway & the study.

I absolutely love this townhouse..especially the backyard.

I want to get my yard paved... But, I procrastinated the summer away and I only got one estimate.. dammit.

I like the space, the paint colours, the flooring and the kitchen. The living room has that "furniture lined up against the walls" look though, and I don't really care for any of the pieces in it.

It looks a little small for $12 million.
