Default Would you like a natural pool?

The only thing we love more than spending a hot summer day laying around at a pool is spending a hot summer day laying around at a lake. More and more, it seems like natural pools are a way to meld those experiences. This pool in particular would be like having a little lake in your own backyard.
Natural, chemical-free pools are pretty uncommon in the U.S. Green Upgrader has an interesting post up explaining exactly why that is. They also list a number of natural alternatives that can keep pools clean.
We know that change is hard for lifelong pool owners, it must be almost impossible to believe you could have a pool that doesn't require harmful chemicals. But it's true. And if the picture above is any indication of the results, well that would be motivation enough for us to lose the chemicals and look into going au naturale.

I really like it, as long as there isn't algae growing all over along with leeches.

The water looks green and murky, so no thanks, I'll stick to my bathtub.

Give me chlorine all day. If I want natural I go to the ocean.

It looks like a big pond - which it is really. I'd go for a chlorine pool.

We have a small pond on our property but you couldn't pay me to swim in it. I sure eat the bass and bream that comes out of it though.

The only time I had a pool it was a ton of work keeping it clean. I can't imagine how this works, although it looks beautiful.
