^^Yes! Okay, here's Sudbury, not a tree in sight (this is northern ontario, after all, an ugly 80's design, and water views? Water views? You're kidding me. As for location, it's SUDBURY, enuf said, lol.

Wow, that's the beigiest beige house I've ever seen. It's like camo.

I don't think the general design is so bad, it's just a cookie-cutter tract house, millions of people live in them. I don't think there's anything wrong with it. Besides, not everyone can afford a stylish, uniquely designed home.

*also, I'm not familiar with Canadian areas--what's wrong with Sudbury?

I think the house in Sherbrooke has a lot of land with it.

Now you know why my sister moved from Calgary to Victoria. Twice the house/land for the same price.

That first one is Jacques Villeneuve's house if I'm not mistaken...

Sudbury water, not so bad. Copper Cliff water (just outside Sudbury proper)... undrinkable. Tasted like sulfur mixed with ass. Pre-1970s, Sudbury was a wasteland in terms of vegetation due to sulfuric acid rain and logging... there were no trees, it was just barren. Since then, it's been undergoing a re-greening process. Still ugly, though.

There is lots of water, though. The only thing Sudbury has going for it is a whole bunch of lakes right in town. You could afford to live right on Lake Nepahwin or something pretty easily.

Tati, why is that Sudbury house up for 1 million. I can't see the reason.

I can't imagine either - Sudbury does have a lot of mansions that would certainly be well up there, but I mean real mansions - this is just a big bland McHouse that I wouldn't expect to see for a million even in Southern Ontario.
