    Default Entering a Décor-Warp

Jason Reitzin's home in Encino, Calif., features all the hallmarks of upscale '70s design. Some of the rooms have not changed since 1974.

In the 1970s, as the owners of the interior design firm Tomorrow Designs, Richard and Barbara Rubens popularized the mirror trend. The couple sits on a black leather Thayer Coggin sectional in the living room.

    S. Stephen and Alice Atkins in their living room. Mr. Atkins worked with an architect to design the house, creating richly wooded surfaces and built-ins in the manner of Frank Lloyd Wright.

Ok, would that have been considered extremely modern when it was first designed? I see several elements that are being used today, it's almost like looking at an Ikea catalog, lol.

That dining room is 80s not 70s, and I can't even see anything in the kitchen except the excruciating shine. But I love the nautilus lamp in the bedroom, as for the rest, it's too much information!
