Default A retreat in British Columbia

In 1995 George and Susan Roth visited Salt Spring Island off the Canadian province of British Columbia and knew it was the right spot for their second home. The couple, who now live most of the year in Vero Beach, Fla., have enjoyed this 2,500-square-foot, single-level house for the last eight years, but now are reluctantly putting it on the market to spend more time with family in Colorado.

omfg THROW OUT ALL THE FURNITURE and rip out that stupid "booth" thing in the kitchen.

Who the fuck puts tacky oriental rugs in a mountain cabin! Ugh!

The wood of the china hutch.. thing.. doesn't match the rest! Whoever did this should DIE.

    .. the view is nice.

Calm down,Grimm! That is their stuff & they will take it out when the house sells. Wish I lived closer!

I'd take the house because the views are so lovely, but they can keep the furniture.

I like the house, the furnishings, not so much. But the outside and inside structure of the house is great. I like how in the first pic the verticals and glass of the house match the tree trunks and the sky. Very well done. At least in that view, it seems to nestle in, and respect it's site, becoming part of the whole.
Don't slap me, cause I'm not in the mood!
